At the Interational Pause Institute, we value your time and are committed to providing you with the highest level of care. To ensure that all patients have access to our services, we have implemented the following cancellation and no-show policy. This policy helps us manage our schedule efficiently and provide timely care to everyone.


Policy Overview

Appointments are reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we require advance notice to avoid a cancellation or no-show fee. This policy applies to all scheduled appointments, including consultations, follow-ups, and procedures.


Cancellations

Notice Requirement

Patients must notify us at least 48 hours before their scheduled appointment to cancel or reschedule.

Late Cancellations

Cancellations made between 25-48 hours prior to the appointment will be considered late and may incur a fee of half the scheduled visit

Cancellations made less than 25 hours prior will incur a fee of the full scheduled visit.

No-Show Policy

Definition: A no-show occurs when a patient misses their scheduled appointment without notifying the clinic in advance.

Fee for No Show: A no-show fee of the full visit cost will be charged to the patient’s account

Impact on Future Appointments

Multiple no-shows may result in a review of the patient’s ability to book future appointments with our clinic.

And 3 no shows in a calendar year may result in termination of your relationship with this practice


Exemptions

We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise. Patients who miss an appointment due to valid reasons (e.g., medical emergencies, accidents) may contact us to discuss a waiver of the fee. Waivers are granted at the clinic’s discretion. However repetitive events will be subject for review.


Payment of Fees

Fees for late cancellations or no-shows must be paid before scheduling a new appointment.

Fees can be paid via credit card, Paypal, check, or Zelle.


Why This Policy Matters

This policy ensures that all patients have timely access to care and that our team’s time is respected. Missed appointments or last-minute cancellations prevent us from accommodating other patients who may need care.



Refunds:

Refunds for services already rendered are not available.

For prepaid services or programs, refunds may be granted only if cancellations are made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled start date. Once the program has started partial refunds will be prorated and an administrative fee of $350 will be assigned.

Non-refundable services will be clearly indicated at the time of purchase.
